Shelby Zuver



PMA (Pilates Method Alliance) in 2015. She is also a Certified Personal Trainer
through the National Academy of Sports Medicine specializing in Performance
Exercise and Corrective Exercise in 2008. Shelby is originally from Los Angeles, CA
where she began ballet at the age of 4. She then began competitive figure skating
and was the youngest in her team to train for the Winter Olympics. Unfortunately,
she suffered various neck and back injuries which left her in chronic pain and could
no longer perform.

Fast forward 18years later, Shelby was introduced to Pilates while training for a NPC
bikini competition in 2011. She instantly fell in love with Pilates, and for the first
time, she began to feel less aches and pain while still getting leaner and stronger;
without the heavy weights. She realized that in those weeks of Pilates classes that
fitness and well-being was an opportunity to look more outside the box. She is
passionate about teaching clients not only the “How-to” get in shape, but the
purpose of mind-body connection and the importance of improving the quality of
everyday living through the method of Pilates. On her spare time, she enjoys
camping, fishing, and cooking with her husband and 3 young boys.
