30 Day Mind, Body, Spirit Spring Cleaning

Is anybody else feeling spring in the air? Even with probably the most snow we’ve gotten all year just falling? I have organized and cleaned almost every nook and cranny in my house. It feels incredibly good! Just the kitchen and garage left! It felt so good, I decided it’s time for me to do an internal spring cleaning.

Any time I’m feeling a little down and tired, I love to go on a reset. You can choose to do your resets as long as you’d like but I like 30 days. I’m not crazy strict (well I guess it depends on how much crap you have in your body!). I just try to follow a clean eating lifestyle. Whether it’s just more fruits and veggies, Keto, AIP, Whole 30, Paleo, you chose. I will be providing healthy meal plans and a template you can follow along with me. Be brave!

Things I do?

  1. I always meal prep. Lots of veggies get spiralized and chopped.

  2. I find compliant ingredients. This is the hardest part because there is a lot of processed crap in most of the items we buy from the grocery store. But really read your nutrition labels and try to stay away from any ADDED sugar. Added sugar is in the list of ingredients, not your nutrition label. This will be the fastest way to curb cravings and to lose some pounds. Watch the sugar. It’s in everything.

  3. Have water easily accessible for you everywhere you go to stay hydrated.

  4. I start of my day an hour earlier than I need too. I throw a load of laundry in, grab coffee (bulletproof) and also my warm water with lemon juice and ACV (apple cider vinegar). Then I read devotions, pray, meditate, visualize what I want in my life, say some affirmations, and write. The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod is a powerful book to get you started on this.

  5. I exercise for an hour at least every day. Whether a long walk, yoga, Pilates, dance, barre. I just make sure that I am moving.

  6. I meditate mid-day.

  7. At the end of my day I journal. I journal about anything that comes to mind. Because I’m in re-set mode I am also into releasing negative things in my life mode. That’s one of the best ways to heal and reach a better you.

  8. I am going to add in doing something nurturing and pampering just for me every day. Like a bath. That sounds awesome!

  9. And finally, I will get 7-8 hours of sleep every night. This is absolutely key to me having a good day.
